Ceiling Beam (Faux Beam)
A decorative, non-structural beam installed on a ceiling to suggest exposed structural framing.
Corbel
A bracket, typically decorative, that appears to support a mantel or shelf from below.
Floating Shelf
A wall-mounted shelf with no visible bracket, typically hung on a concealed cleat or rod system so it appears to float.
Locker (Bench with Hooks or Cubbies)
A mudroom built-in combining a bench, wall hooks and open cubbies in one unit.
Mantel / Mantel Shelf
A shelf built and set above a fireplace opening, typically mounted on a hidden wall cleat with the shelf itself left loose for future adjustment.
Mudroom Bench
A built-in bench, typically paired with lockers/cubbies, in a mudroom.
